We did the Manaslu circuit trek in October this year and it was such a wonderful time. Our guide Sabut, and our porters Siam, Rajesh, and Ruben made our trip. Always so kind, caring, engaging, and fun. I've done many expeditions around the world and these guys are some of the very best people I've traveled with. Karna is also a great organizer and communicator. I wouldn't change a thing, and I'll definitely be organizing more trips with them in the future, as long as Sabut is involved ;)

We had an amazing experience on our 26-day Tsum Valley and Manaslu Circuit trek.

Our trip was postponed for 3 years due to COVID - but throughout the 3 years (while waiting for travel opportunities to return) I was able to communicate with Karna from Nepal Mother House Treks via email. From my initial correspondence, Karna was always prompt in replying to my many questions and together we developed a customized itinerary that met our request for shorter walking days - shorter than most "packaged" itineraries. Our trek was truly amazing. Our guide Jayram and our Porter Gyanesh were both excellent. They were patient, supportive, caring, and professional. They kept us safe, well-fed, and informed of every day's opportunities and challenges.

From the moment we arrived at Kathmandu airport, we felt like we were visiting friends. Karna warmly welcomed us with marigold lays, drove us to a charming hotel, and in the morning we started visiting the Kathmandu Valley with a knowledgeable guide. Prior to starting the Annapurna Trek, we saw all the mandatory historical and cultural sites, with all the rides and meals organized for us. I read that roads and flights inside of Nepal are unpredictable, and it was a great relief, not to have to worry about delays, because somebody else took care of everything. For example, our flight to Pokhara was delayed, which could interfere with our itinerary, yet Jayram, our guide, organized transportation to make up for the lost time, so that the next morning, everything was back on schedule.

The trek itself was beautiful, gradually ascending through Himalayan valleys, until we arrived at the Annapurna Base Camp. Every day, the views were spectacular, each day, unique, and different from the previous one. Our guide and porters, Kishor and Vijaya, took care of us as if in every lodge they were welcoming us in their own homes. In the end, I don’t know what made the biggest impression on me: the grandeur of the mountains, the clarity of the sky, or the care of the Nepali people. Overall, it was a great cultural adventure.

Embarking on the Annapurna Base Camp trek was an unforgettable adventure. The entire experience was exceptionally well-organized, thanks to a capable guide and reliable porters who made the journey smooth. The breathtaking views along the trail, especially at the base camp, left me in awe. From lush forests to the majestic Annapurna peaks, every step was rewarded with nature's grandeur. The trek not only tested my endurance but also provided a profound connection with the stunning landscapes of the Himalayas. Undoubtedly, a must-do trek for any avid adventurer seeking a perfect blend of challenge and scenic beauty.

Karna is very experienced and did an excellent job organizing our adventure.

My and my friends (a group of 7 in total, 5 guys and 2 ladies) had the pleasure to join Nepal Mother House with our guide Shabbut, and 3 porters Shiam, Ruben, and Rambo on a 12-day Manaslu Circuit trek. They were all so funny, caring, kind and strong (!!!). I also unexpectedly upgraded my card-play skills of Dumbal (Yaniv) in the evenings. Thanks also to the company owner Karna for his professional advice and kind company showing me around some spots for buying Nepalse flower seeds to grow a bit of Nepal at home now :) I recommend!

I would highly recommend Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition. Our Manaslu circuit trip was handled amazingly from start to finish. They took great care of us making sure we arrived in and forth Kathmandu and the airport.

The trip itself was managed by an excellent guide who kept us informed about what we would expect along the journey and made sure we were fed, happy, and comfortable along the whole journey. This trek would have been daunting without him.

We also hired some porters to help us carry extra luggage along the way: Their upbeat nature and helpful attitude never stopped. They made sure we were comfortable as much as they could whilst carrying most of our weight.

If you want to do a trek with an experienced group of hard-working, friendly, and hospitable team then you must choose Nepal Mother House Treks & Expedition. I promise on the mountain you will be thankful to have such a fantastic team with you! 

My friends(now family) and I had the most incredible experience on the Manaslu circuit with Mother house Nepal, absolutely everything was perfectly executed and organized from our insanely kind and friendly guide to the strongest and most resilient porters who never failed to have a smile on their faces and ready to help out whenever needed. Oct Nov 2023 just finished the amazing trek Manaslu circuit, and Annapurna circuit, a 35-day magical trek with guide Bam and porter Dipak, from Nepal Mother House Treks. They have a thorough knowledge of the trails, the hotels, how to tackle the passes, off-the-beaten-track side trips such as Prok village and lake, Ice Lake Braka, Larjung lakes, Manaslu base camp, Pyong Monastery, etc. They are fun, caring, and knowledgeable.

We trekked to the Annapurna Base Camp in September 2023. This is our second trekwith Nepal Mother House Treks. Thank you Karna for making all our arrangements and for accommodating our last-minute changes. From picking us up at the airport, briefing us on our trek, and to sending us off at the end of our stay. Our guide Jayram was very helpful throughout our journey and picked the best tea houses for our stays during the trek. Not forgetting our portersDeepak, Ishore, and Ganesh who made our journey lighter and were great help and company:). We enjoyed the scenery and the trek even though it was challenging. Looking forward to our next trek with Nepal Mother House Treks.

Upper Mustang with Luri Gumba. I cannot speak more highly of Mother House Treks. Our guides and porters were a wonderful team who worked so well together and became like friends by the end of the trek. Our head guide Sabut was a ‘can do’ person who found solutions for us when the plane to Jomsom was cancelled and then when one of our party was unwell and needed to rest and rejoin us after a few days. The Upper Mustang trek itself was brilliant- the most beautiful arid landscapes, ancient villages, and temples, physically challenging but beautifully managed. Thank you also to Ronaldo, Kishor, and Shyam who took such great care of us.

Organisiert durch Nepal Mother House Treks haben mein Freund und ich im Mai 2023 eine wunderschöne Zeit auf dem Manaslu Circuit + Tsum Valley Trek

Verbracht. Auf der insgesamt dreiwöchigen Reise haben wir uns durch unseren Guide Suman immer bestens betreut und begleitet gefühlt. Angefangen bei der Abholung vom Flughafen in Kathmandu und seiner Unterstützung bei den letzten Reisevorbereitungen und Einkäufen hat sich Suman sehr gut um uns gekümmert und ist auf all unsere Wünsche eingegangen.

In den Unterkünften entlang der Wanderung hat Suman uns immer das schönste Zimmer mit der besten Aussicht organisiert. Auch bei den Mahlzeiten hat er immer dafür gesorgt, dass wir trotz großem Hunger ausreichend satt geworden sind. Weiterhin schien er gut informiert über aktuelle Geschehnisse entlang der Route (Wetterereignisse u.ä.) und stand telefonisch immer in regem Kontakt mit anderen Guides oder den Teahouse-Besitzern entlang der Route, sodass wir uns immer sicher mit ihm gefühlt haben.

Mein Freund lag zweimal mit Fieber im Bett und auch dabei hat sich Suman rührend um ihn gekümmert, ihm sogar das Essen und Tee ans Bett gebracht. Gemeinsam mit dem Teahouse-Besitzer ist es ihm gelungen, spontan vor Ort noch einen Porter für den Passtag zu organisieren, sodass wir trotz des geschwächten Zustands den Pass sicher passieren konnten.

Während der gesamten Reise hat Suman bereitwillig sein Wissen über Nepal geteilt und versucht, uns die Kultur näher zu bringen. Er war ein angenehmer Gesprächspartner, spricht sehr gut Englisch und ist gerne auch Mal zu einem Scherz aufgelegt.

Auch mit Mister Ranas Organisation der Reise waren wir sehr zufrieden. Stets geduldig und freundlich hat er unsere vielen Mails vor der Reise innerhalb weniger Stunden oder spätestens eines Tages beantwortet und sogar im Vorfeld der Reise ein Skype-Gespräch mit Suman möglich gemacht.

Nach dem Trek sind wir in den Chitwan-Nationalpark weitergereist. Mister Rana hat uns sogar noch geholfen, Bus-Tickets dorthin zu buchen.
Falls wir nochmal nach Nepal zurückkehren, würden wir vertrauensvoll wieder eine Wanderung über Nepal Mother House Treks buchen.
Und allen zukünftigen Nepalreisenden und Interessierten empfehlen wir wärmstens sich von unserem Guide Suman durch den Himalaya führen zu lassen.

Organized by Nepal Mother House Treks, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Manaslu Circuit + Tsum Valley Trek in May 2023. During the three-week trip, we always felt well looked after and accompanied by our guide Suman. Starting with the pickup from the airport in Kathmandu and his assistance with the final travel arrangements, Suman took very good care of us. In the teahouses along the hike, Suman always arranged the nicest room with the best views for us. Even with meals, he always made sure that we got large portions when we were extra hungry. Furthermore, he seemed well-informed about current events along the route (weather events, etc.) and was always in active contact with other guides or the teahouse owners along the route by telephone, so we always felt safe with him.

My boyfriend was sick twice and lay in bed with a fever and Suman took good care of him, even bringing him food and tea to the bedroom. Together with the teahouse owner, he managed to spontaneously organize another porter for the following days, so that we were able to pass Larkye La Pass safely despite the weakened condition. Throughout the trip, Suman willingly shared his knowledge about Nepal’s culture. He was a pleasant person to talk to, speaks very good English, and likes to crack a joke from time to time. We were also very satisfied with Mister Rana's organization of the trip.

Always patient and friendly, he answered our many emails a few hours before the trip, or within 24h at the latest, and even arranged a Skype call with Suman before the trip. If we ever return to Nepal, we would happily book another trek through Nepal Mother House Treks. And we warmly recommend all future travelers to Nepal let Suman guide them through the Himalayas.
