The Khumjung monastery, where you can see the Yeti's skull, will satisfy your curiosity about it. During your acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar, visit Khumjung village. You have amazing mountain scenery on the entire trail; Mount Everest is the most beautiful. There are two other mountains (Lhotse and Makalu) over 8,000 meters in height. Crossing the high suspension bridge, beautiful alpine forests with colorful rhododendrons and magnolias blooming in spring, the sounds of yaks' bells and porters' whistles, and rare wildlife like red pandas, snow leopards, musk deer, Himalayan goats, and the Nepali national bird, the dhaphe (Lophophorus), make your budget EBC trek more entertaining.
