Our Guide will come to your hotel early in the morning, and transfer to the domestic airport for the Kathmandu to Lukla flight. We will get to Lukla after a 25 to 30-minute scenic exciting flight and meet other crew, who have been waiting for you to the Lukla and make final preparations for the Phakding trek. The trail goes through the Lukla bazaar north side and gets, and that is dedicated first Nepalese Everest Submitter late Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, on April 22, 1993. Then the trail descends through the forest above the Chaurikharka and Chheplung (2,660m) Village, where a trail from Jiri comes to join. Then, the trail upward along the Dudh Koshi River with Sherpa Village and Buddhist rock painting, Mane wall, Mane wheel, and Chorten to the Ghat (2,530m) and keep continue to the Phakding Village (2,640m). Rest of the day you may walk round the village and may visit the monastery above the town. Stay overnight at a tea House enjoying Sherpa culture.

Today, we follow Dudh Koshi River Bank most of the day, cross five suspension bridges. After having breakfast the trail heading north first bridge for the day, you will walk along the left side of the river bank and through the forest to the Tok Tok and walk to the beautiful waterfall place Benkar (2,630m) and cross the second swing bridge then ascend to the Chhamuwa Village with the agricultural farm. You have wonderful view of Mt. Thamserku (6,608m) and surrounded landscape. Now, the trail ascending continues to Monjo (2,840m), where Sagarmatha National Park begins, our guide check in all our permits and descend to the Jorsale (2,740m) after cross the river and walk continue to through the forest and again cross the another bridge and walk along the right side of the river for half an hour. Now, the trail suddenly ascends for fifteen minutes and brings you confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River with hanging suspension bridge high above the water surface. Now, the trail ascends through the forest winding the trail to the view point in 45 minutes, from where you have first view of top of the world Mt. Everest (8,848m) and Nupste (7,861m). The trail continues for another an hour to the ancient trading point Namche Bazaar through the forest. Stay overnight at Tea House enjoying with wonderful mountains scenery in Sherpa Heritage.

Day Highlights

This is rest day in Namche Bazaar for the acclimatization before heading to Everest Base camp. We commence our day hike late breakfast, the trail ascend the hill above the town to the Khumjung Village (3,790m) and Everest View Hotel (3,880m), from where you have breathtaking mountains view including top of the world “Mt. Everest (8,848m)”, Nupste (7,961m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), Kangtegha (6,685m), Thamserku (6,608m), Kusum Khanguru (6,367m), Khongde (6,186m) and Protector deity of the Khumbu “Khumbi Yu La (5,761m)” etc. Ship a cup of tea in the luxury amenities and enjoying spectacular mountains view, and then we descend to the Khumjung Village, where you can visit the Hillary School, centaury old Khumjung Monastery with a Yeti skull, and Khunde Hospital in 30 minutes walking distance, and then we return back to Namche Bazaar via Yak farm and Syangbuche airport. If you have time, you may visit Sherpa mountaineering museum, Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee (SPCC) and UNESCO World heritage site listed Sagarmatha National Park, open 8 am to 4 Pm every day except Saturday and Public Holiday. We are staying overnight at Tea House enjoying in the Sherpa Highland.

Day Highlights

To proceed from Namche Bazaar toward the Tengboche, we ascend top of the town where painting huge boulder by Buddhist Mantra and nearby museum, then the trail goes through pleasant trail high above the Dudh Koshi River for 5 to 6 hours to the Tengboche (3,867m). The trail gradually ascends Kenjoma (3,550m) with magnificent mountains view, walk farther through the Rhododendron forest you will get in the junction, where the trail coming down from Khumjung, and another drop from Gokyo and you keep continue right trail heading down to the small settlement Sanasa, and drop down continue to the Dudh Koshi River Bank at Phunki Thanga (3,250m). You had lunch before ascend to the Tenoboche (3,867m) through the jungle of rhododendron, and alpine to the ridge of the Hill on the Tengbuche monastery, bestow spectacular mountains view including top of the World “Everest (8,848m), Kongde (6,186m), Tabuche (6,367m), Nuptse (7,861m), Lhotse (8,516m), Ama Dablam (6,856m), Kantega (6,685m) and Thamserku (6,608m) etc. Especially the sky soaring peak Ama Dablam (6,856m) is most attractive from Tengboche during sunset and sunrise time. Every early morning and evening there is praying ceremony in the Monastery, you can participate for this event to enchanting your soul. The Tengboche monastery was established by Gulu Lama in 1916 and maintained time to again but the recent structure of Monastery was from 1989, after destroying by electric fire. Entrance of the Tengboche monastery gate you can see foot print of Lama Sangwa Dorje (1700s) on the stone. Tengboche is best place to spent two nights day hike to Hamugon Peak (4,560m) above the village. Stay overnight in Tyangboche enjoying with Himalayan Shangri-La.

Today, the trek begins from Tengboche for the Dingboche to the downhill through the rhododendron and pines mossy forest to the Deboche (3,820m). And the trail goes through the forest high above the Imza River to the Milingga and continues to the forest cross a bridge over the raging Imja River, with sky towering view of the Ama Dablam (6,856m). Then the trail steeply ascends to the Chorten and Buddhist creative gate and reaches in Pangboche Village (3,930m) and walk further to the Somare (4,010m) and Orsho in the arid and barren landscape. The trail continues upward to the Warsa and following down the trail to the Dingboche, where left trail heading to Pheriche (4,240m). The trail climbs up after crossing the Lobuche Khola and get in Chorten with the colorful Buddhist flag and get in Dingboche Village (4,410m) beneath the Mt. Ama Dablam with the different figure for same mountains. Dingboche is called as, “highest farmland in the world”, barley; buckwheat and potato are main crops of the town. Dingboche if gateway of the Chukung and farther beyond for the most challenging traverses towards Makalu area and Hinko Valley via Sherpani col (6,100m) and Amphu Laptsa pass (5,780 m). We are staying overnight at tea house enjoying in the Mother Nature.

Day Highlights

Your body energize after complete acclimatization day in Dingboche. The trek begins from the Dingboche, ascending hill above the town and goes toward the Duglha through the seasonal pasture land above the Pheriche Village offering stunning views of Tabuche (6,367m) and Cholatse (6,335m). When cross the bridge over Lobuche River, which is coming from couple hundred meters above Khumbu Glacier. The trail steeply ascends for 45 minutes from Duglha and gets in Duglha Pass (4,830m), where you will see several stone memorials and cairns dedicated to the climber who passed way during their journey. Then the trail crosses the stream and walk along the left side of the river bank to the Labuche (4,910m) taking about an hour from the pass. Labuche is located nearby Khumbu Glacier surrounded by gigantic snow capped mountains. Stay overnight at the teahouse enjoying amazing nature.

To proceed from Lobuche toward the Gorak Shep, the trail goes ridge nearby Khumbu gently ascend and sometime directly climb up. While walk for while, you will see sign board 20 minutes walk on north for the Lobuche Pyramid International Laboratory/Observatory high altitude scientific research center is located at 5,050 m, establish in 1990 by Italian government co-operation. The trail goes further loose rock, barren and arid landscape to the Goeakshep via Lobuche Pass (5,110m) taking 3 to 4 hours. Often you have wonderful mountains of Mt. Pumori (7,165m), Lingtren (6,749m), Khumbutse (6,665m) and Nuptse (7,861m) and even you can see amazing Everest Base Camp and top of the world Mt. Everest (8,848m) just above the Gorakshep. Gorak Shep is last tea house for the Everest Base Camp, so you need to have lunch before heading to Everest Base Camp. You need to carry enough drinking water, warm clothes, some energy bars, trekking pole and head lamp if incase you are getting back to the hotel lately. The trail from Gorak Shep heading toward Everest Base Camp (5,360m) through the Khunbu Glacier ridge ups and down with loose rocks, some time the trail missing, so you need to follow the our guide. After 2 to 3 hours walking you will rich in EBC, where you have incredible Glacier, Khumbu Ice Fall, surrounded by wonderful mountains. If you are visiting EBC during the spring, countless tented camp can be seen, which looks like mini Thamel with most of the amenities. The trail to EBC has been changing every year due to Glacier movement. Distantly, it is not for the way but due to thin air such high elevation, you will feel quite strenuous walk. Enjoy in the Everest Base camp. We return back to Gorakshep, retrace and stay overnight in the tea house located highest place in the world.

Early at morning, we will ascend 2 hours to Kalapatthar for the 360 degrees incredible view of the mountain peaks. At the begging the trail steeply ascends hill above the Gorakshep for fifteen minutes and walk farther to the plateau, where Nepalese Government held the cabinet meeting on December 4, 2009, a week head of that year’s world summit on the climate change in Copenhagen. Day Highlights

After breakfast, we process to heading to the Namche Bazaar all the way down. The trail descends along the Imza River valley to the Pangboche, and drops to the Dibuche Village and ascend through the forest to the hill station Tengboche Monastery, with spectacular mountains view. Now the trail descending through the forest of the rhododendron, pine and Juniper to the Bank of Dudha Koshi River at Phunke Tenga and again climb to the Sansa through the forest and heading to Namche Bazaar. It takes 6 to 7 hours to get in Namce Bazaar. If you miss the Saturday weekly market last time check day, is this Saturday. The marked conducted south edge of the Bazaar with various commodities and batter system. We are staying overnight at tea house enjoying wonderful mountains view and Sherpa Heritage.

Day Highlights

Today is end of the Everest Trek, after having breakfast, the trail descend from the end of the Namche Bazaar then goes through the forest with beautiful Dudhkoshi Valley view and spectacular landscape. The trail steeply descends to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi, and Bhote Koshi cross the high suspension bridge and walk along the river bank to the Salleri, Manjo, Benkar, Tok Tok and Phakding. The walk continue high above the river bank along the Buddhist wall painting, Mane Wall, Mane wheel and Chorten to the Ghat and Chheplung and climb high above the Chaurikharka through the forest to the Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla.Our Guide will reconfirm the air tickets at airline office. You are free rest of the time, you wonder around the town. It will be 6 to 7 hours walk the entire downhill. As this is trip last day. You will enjoy with Guide and crew in the evening celebrate and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day Highlights

Early in the morning we walk to the Tenzing Hillary Airport for the Kathmandu flight. All the flight conducted in the morning due to the weather after mid day is not suitable for the flight. Sometime the flight time can be delayed due to not favorable weather and other reason beyond our control. So, we suggested to you put extra at the list one day get back to Kathmandu. But this time you will fly back to Kathmandu according to your schedule and transfer to the Hotel. Remaining time of the day, you are free; you can process your other plan and join with us for other activities. We will hand over your trekking permits, TIMS card and trip appreciation card for memory of Nepal trip.

Note: There is not direct flight Lukla to Kathmandu due to air traffic at Kathmandu Airport, so you need to fly Lukla to Manthali Airport at Ramechhap 15 to 20 minutes’ flight and drive back to Kathmandu 132km, for 4 to 5 hours.
