After the short flight to Tumlingtar to the east of Mount Everest, our first week is occupied with browsing through the untouched territory of the Solu Khumbu region. Now, there is a rough road access to the Salpa Phedi (3,000m) from Tumlingtar via Chyawabesi (250m), Gothe Bazaar (800m), Dobhane (1800m), which takes 5 to 6 hours, and Guranse (2,880m) from Salpa Phadi and the road has connected to Chheskam and Bung (1,730m) from Kangel airport.
Follow the Mount Everest path to Kala Pattar for breathtaking views of Everest Base Camp, Nuptse, and several other mountain peaks. Then, trekkers can either take a flight to Kathmandu or return to Kathmandu through Jiri if they have enough time, after a journey back to Lukla.
