Overview

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is the best option for people looking to learn the Himalayan secret in the shortest amount of time. The trek traverses "Mt. Manaslu, 8163 m," the eighth-highest peak in the world, with its stunning vistas and refined culture. The best place to go as a test of Tibet, if you would like to go but are unable to for a variety of reasons, is the Short Manaslu Circuit Trek. Because of the trek's stunning scenery and diverse geography, it is growing in popularity every day. In contrast to the other popular trekking routes, Manaslu has just created a teahouse trekking route in Nepal's Gorkha district, which is located in the northeast. The people here are similar to Tibetans because they live close to the border with Tibet and have maintained the ancient Tibetan way of life and culture. You will witness unique cultures, beliefs, and religious faiths in the lap of the Manaslu. For trekkers who are physically fit and wish to visit Nepal’s High Himalayas in the shortest time, the Short Manaslu Circuit Trekking would be worthwhile.

There is a basic teahouse amenity in the entire Manaslu, compared to the other trekking regions. But nowadays, several new tea houses have been built after the 25th April  Several places on the trail have undergone reconstruction, and Yaraphat has built the Cantilever Walkway Bridge (195 meters) using the latest Swiss technology.  This approach is the first cantilever trail practice in Nepal. This provides easy access for trekkers and local people between villages. Even some tea houses in Manaslu have Wi-Fi services and are sure to be in Samagaun. If you are curious about the Manaslu Circuit Trek after the devastating earthquake and COVID-19 pandemic, then the moment is the right time to visit. Your v However, following the 25 April earthquake, the EP center at Barpak, Gorkha, has constructed several new tea houses. The moment will be a great support for the locals to rebuild houses and schools, and direct and indirect support will be given to the schoolchildren for their bright future.

Manaslu is a virgin trekking trail in the lap of the Himalayas; people, culture, and life are untouched by modernization. Uniquely, people here are following a polyandry marriage system, animal husbandry, and traditional cultivation methods. They are following Bon Buddhism, which has a powerful culture and rituals. The Manaslu Circuit Short Trek starts from Machhakhola via Arughat Bazaar, Narsingh Dham at Salyantar, and Sotikhola after the drive from the capital city of Kathmandu. And follow the same trekking routes as the Manaslu Circuit through the Tatopani (natural hot spring), Dobhan, Jagat, Sirdibas, Philim, Pewa, Dang, Ghap, Bhi Phedi/Prok, Namrung, Lihi, Lho, Shyala, Sama Gaun, Manaslu Base Camp, Samdo, Dharmashala, and Bhimtang via Larke Pass at an elevation of 5,160 meters. Then end the trip at Dharapani and drive by public bus or jeep to Kathmandu via Besisahar.

We specially designed the Short Manaslu Circuit Trek for trekkers who are mentally and physically fit for hiking in the high Himalayas in the shortest period. According to our client’s history, most of them have completed this trip without any obstacles. The Manaslu Short Trek starts at 930 meters above sea level at Machhakhola and gradually gains elevation to the highest point at Larkya Bhanjyang (5,160 meters), mostly following the Budhigandaki River (Yashodhara Nadi) bank through the rural village. We at Nepal Mother House are always concerned about your short Manaslu Circuit Trek and how to make it successful. We aim to provide you with the best satisfaction during your short visit and to reduce its negative effects. Our itinerary includes visits to the Manaslu Base Camp (4,400 m), Birendra Lake, and Phungen Gumpa (3,870 m). If you have the time and fitness, you can also visit the Manaslu Advance Base Camp (4,800 m) for a panoramic view of Samagaun. Manaslu Advance Base Camp (4,800 m)  This is a common route for trekkers.

Likewise, Sama Gaun (Nubri Valley) is the birthplace of "Mingyur Rinpoche," who published "The Joy of Living," a New York Times best-seller. The book is about The Joy of Living: Unlocking the Secret and Science of Happiness.

The Manaslu Circuit Rapid Trek is located within the Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP), offering a diverse range of wildlife and diverse vegetation. In the high area, you will see Himalayan goats known as Thar or Jharal and deer, snow leopards, marmots, Jhum (yak and cow hybrid), and yaks. Similarly, you have amazing mountain views like Ganesh Wonderful (7,140 m), Shringi Himal (7,161 m), Rani Peak/Lidanai Peak (6,693 m), Himalchuli (7,750 m), Nadi Chuli/Peak 29 (7,871 m), Mt. Manaslu/Kang Pungen (8,163 m), Manaslu North (7,157 m), Naike Peak (6,211 m), and many more. From the top of the Larkya La Pass, you have an astonishing view of Kangguru (6,981 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Gyaji Kang (7,038 m), Larke Peak (6,249 m), Lamjung Himal (7,983 m), and Ratna Chuli (7,035 m).

In general, the Manaslu Circuit Trek can be 9 to 16 days, but as this is a rapid Manaslu trip, Nepal Mother House recommends 10 days due to the road access at the beginning of the trek and after the trek. But you need to walk every day for 7 to 8 hours on average to be fit mentally and physically. As we are locals from the Manaslu Region, we organize your Manaslu short trek with expert local guides and porters according to your holiday schedule. Here is an essential guide for the Manaslu Circuit Trek, which helps make your trip a lifetime experience to visit most of the hidden treasures in the Manaslu region.

Your Plan at the Best Time in Manaslu

The short Manaslu Circuit Trek can be done all year round, but we at Nepal Mother House recommend mid-September, October, and November in the autumn season and mid-March, April, and May in the spring as the best times. Spring is more flourishing vegetation, full of rhododendron blooming and favorable weather. Those who love Himalayan plants and flowers will love spring. During the spring season, you can see many expedition groups in the mountains. Likewise, autumn is one of the best trekking seasons in Nepal. The weather is pleasant, neither hot nor cold over monsoons, with a clear sky and breathtaking mountain scenery. This is the season for rice harvesting, when farmers are busy on their farms, and a golden layer of rice terraces can be seen below snowcapped mountains. October and November celebrate the main festivals, Dashain, Tihar/Dipawali, and Chhatha. Autumn bestows upon you amazing mountain scenery and a vibrant cultural show in Nepal.

Physical Fitness and Training Requirements for the Trek

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a moderate-to-strenuous trip; you need good preparation before the trek. Doing regular yoga, jogging in the morning, hiking with a small backpack every weekend, climbing stairs frequently, dancing, doing gym and cardiology exercises, etc., helps your physical fitness. Similarly, you need to be mentally well prepared. You need to walk 6 to 7 hours most days, except 8 to 9 hours on the cross day at Larke Pass. This short Manaslu Circuit trek is highly recommended only for adventure lovers and physically fit people.

Transport Available for Short Manaslu Circuit Trek

There are regular bus services to Arughat Bazaar from Kathmandu, and all the buses leave in the morning from six to seven o'clock. Your guide and porters will arrive at your hotel in the morning, after which they will drive 5 to 10 minutes to the bus station at Machhapokharai, Kathmandu, for the 138 km journey to Arughat, which takes 6 to 7 hours. Then, taking another bus or jeep from Arughat Bazaar to Sotikhola (12.9 km) and from Sotikhola to Machhakhola (13 km) takes altogether 2 to 3 hours, and then driving from Machhakhola to Jagat by Bolero Jeep takes one half to 2 hours. In the new year, 2025 (January 3, 2025), give a present to the local people of Tsum Nubri; a 97 km road from Benighat, Dhading, has access for four-wheel vehicles to the Pangsing in Tsum Nubri Rural Municipality at Gorkha. The remaining 57 km of road has been processed to open by the Nepal Military; in a few years, the link road (154 km) to China-Tibet at Larke Bhot from Benighat will bring flourish and good support to the locals of Gorkha and the development of Nepal.

However, there have been two buses operating in the morning and night shifts directly from Kathmandu to Machhakhola to Kathmandu via Gorkha Bazaar.  The buses from Kathmandu to Arughta Bazaar via Dhading Besi are also available every morning from New Bus Park at Balaju. The excellent strategic road track almost joins Prithvi Highway at Benighat to Ruila Pass (4,998 m) at the Tibet Border via Arughat, Dobhan, Philim, Samagaun, and Samdo.

Likewise, at the end of the trek at Dharapani, there is also available public transport to Besisahar. The public bus will carry a large number of passengers through the rough road for the majority of the journey. If you would like to have much more comfortable travel on such a long journey, it would be best to hire a private Jeep as well. Private transport will be more costly, even if you won’t regret its comfort and flexibility.

Accommodation and Shower in Manaslu

Manaslu has recently developed a trekking route compared to other well-known teahouse treks. If you have prior trekking experience in Nepal, the accommodation in Manaslu is similar to that of the Annapurna and Langtang areas. But some places have very basic facilities. Normally, there is a single, double, or dormitory bedroom with a comfortable enough mattress, bedsheets, pillow, and blanket, and a common bathroom and toilet. Most of the tea houses and guest houses have hot showers powered by solar systems or gas geysers; if not, they will provide a bucket of hot water for the shower. The tea house does not provide towels or shampoo; you are responsible for bringing them with you. Some establishments offer free showers, while others charge a small fee ranging from NPR 200 to 1000.

What type of meals are you expecting on the trek, and what is your plan for drinking water?

As the Manaslu circuit is a basic teahouse trek, you will get meals at the teahouse from menu cards with different options. Most trekkers have Nepalese food, dalbhat (rice + lentil soup, vegetables + curry + pickles), on the trek, and it is simple to make the same meals for many people at the same time. With a variety of subitems, you can add more meals until you are full. This approach helps to save fuel and time, and you are a person who will greatly contribute to reducing global warming while cooking your meals. Well-trained cooks prepare the food, ensuring quality, hygiene, and a high standard of quality. Other food items include noodles, potato items, rice items, bread, macaroni, pizza, burgers, yak steak, momo, muesli, spaghetti, and more. Some tea houses also offer a variety of food items based on different continents. For the drinking water, you can buy a bottle of mineral water on the Short Manaslu Trek, but it would be best to treat the water by yourself. This approach helps to make your trip cheaper and avoid plastics to keep a clean environment. For double safety, it's best to use iodine and chlorine tablets in the purified water, or you can use a UV Steripen for increased comfort.

Trip Cost and Itinerary of Short Manaslu Circuit

The cost of the short Manaslu Circuit trek seemed quite high due to permit expenses and transportation. This trek requires four different permits.I] Manaslu Restricted Area Special Permit [II] Manaslu Conservation Area Project (MCAP) [III] Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) [IV] Trekkers' Information Management Systems (TIMS) Card. Normally, Nepal Trekking Permit Fees can be different according to the trekking season; however, the Manaslu Restricted Area Special Permit fee is distinct in autumn and spring. Likewise, the transportation for the Manaslu Tsum Valley Trek is 18 days, and the 10-day Manaslu Circuit Trek is the same, but you need to pay a higher cost for it. However, we at Nepal Mother House Treks are glad to offer early bird trip booking for 2025 (spring = March, April, and May, and autumn = September, October, and November) and 2025 (autumn and spring) in a reasonable way. This is one of the short treks in Manaslu for travelers who are physically fit and mentally strong enough to cope with 7 to 8 hours of walking every day except at Larkya Pass. So, if you are searching for a two-week trek, then the Manaslu Circuit trek will be suitable for you.

Is it possible to do the Manaslu Circuit Trek solo?

Trekking in a restricted area requires a minimum of two trekkers in a group and a professional guide from a government-registered trekking company. This short trip to the Manalu Circuit also goes to the Manaslu restricted area, so you ought to obey rules and regulations. Normally, it is not possible to organize a solo trek in Manaslu; however, “where there is a will, there is a way” meets here, and we at Nepal Mother House are glad to organize solo trips in a group to join the base. If it is not possible to group up according to your holiday schedule, then we will issue a ghost permit for the trip. For this, you need to bear double the cost of the restricted area permits.

Day-to-day

Short Manaslu Circuit Trek visit Pung Gyen Gumba Itinerary

Our guide and potter come to your hotel as mentioned in a previous meeting. Then we are heading to Arughat by bus or Land Cruiser (depending on group size) for a scenic drive for 138 kilometers. While passing the ridge of Kathmandu Valley, you catch a glimpse of Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Langtang Himal's magnificent views and terraces and green hills. After Dhading Besi or Gorkha Bazaar, the road is tricky because of the grubby road. To get to Arughat through the Gorkha Bazaar or Dhading Besi depends on your time and choice. But in this itinerary, we will drive through the Dhading Beshe. The village of Arughat is in two parts, on opposite sides of the Budhi Gandaki. Arughat Bazaar is large, clean, and prosperous, with hotels and shops selling cloth, food, and hardware. Again, drive from Arughat Bazaar to Soti Khola (13 km) to Machhakhola (10 kilometers) via Laubesi by jeep/local bus, taking about 3 hours. Again, drive to Jagat (1,340 m) from Machhakhola by local sharing jeep, about one and a half to 2 hours. Stay overnight at a tea house.

Day Highlights

After a hot breakfast, the journey leads us to ascend a rugged, rocky trail. Then we climb up and down ravines and notched trees. Several waterfalls on both sides of the Budhi Gandaki River and hundreds of species of birds in the forest make our trip enjoyable. Living in Jagat provides unique hospitality with culture and religion. During the Machha Khola to Jagat trek, the narrow valley shaped by Budhi Gandaki provides the magnificent vistas of Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, and Himal Chuli as we continue up to the large Gurung village and fields of corn and millet.

The trekking leads today, on a beautiful high trail through a narrow dramatic gorge section with towering walls, past a thundering waterfall just above us, and across the suspension bridge, ascending gradually along a wide hillside. If the weather is clear, you can see a beautiful mountain view and an amazing Bhudhigandaki Valley view below Philim. After breakfast, your day trip starts through a small settlement, Ekle Bhatti. In thirty units, you will get to the wonderful waterfall before the junction of Tsum Valley and the Manaslu Circuit main trail. Don't be confused for the trial; the right trail goes heading for Tsum Valley, but for the Manaslu, you need to drop down to cross the bridge and continue following the riverbank with narrow gorges. Probably you will have meals at Nayak or Pewa. Today you need to cross the three times the same river, Bhudhigandaki. Again the trail follows the riverbank and finally gets to Dang. After trekking through dense forest, the small village in the lower Nubri region called Kutang, where the people are ethnically pure Tibetans. We have views of Lumbo Himal as well as Lapuchen and Dwijen Himals. We camp nearby the village and get fresh greens from those who own the land. It starts to feel like a piece of old Tibet at last. Staying overnight at Deng.

Day Highlights

The trail goes through the valley across the bridge twice, switchbacking steeply up to the small, poor village of Rana. After more climbing through lovely woods of pine, we reach Bihi Phedi, views of Kutang Himal, and start to see Mani stones, a sign of the tiny Tibetan footholds marked in the high Himalayan places. Some trekkers heading to Tsum Valley from Rana Village are blocked between Lokpa and Chumling. Again trek through the dense forest, cross the Budhi Gandaki wooden bridge, and ascend gently up to the Tibetan-run lodge Namrung, with views of mountains. Today we walk 7 to 8 hours from Deng to Namrung (2,660 m) and stay overnight.

Day Highlights

After breakfast, the trail goes to extensive pastureland to the ancient Lihi village, and flowing down the Lidanda Glaciers, reaches the picturesque Tibetan village of Sho at 3000. On the way to Lho, the spectacular views of Ngadi Chuli and Manaslu itself are quite an impressive afternoon. Lho, a sprawling village decorated with many prayer flags, is in the yard of a small lodge and Gomba. If you are staying at Lho Village, this is one of the best views of Mt. Manaslu during sunset, and the sunrise from the campsite is wonderful. After Lho, the trail leads from the new Gomba and then ascends to the idyllic Tibetan settlement of Shayla with amazing mountain panoramas. Dzongka Dzong (fortress) at the border of Tibet, a few day's walk from Sama Gaon, as late as the 1940s until it was taken over by Gorkhas in the late 19th century. Later, make a shelter by Tibetan guerrillas (Khampa), and it was closed for the treks until 1992. Take the afternoon to hike around the settlement with wonderful mountain views and wander the streets of the fascinating Shyala village. Stay overnight at the tea house.

Day Highlights

Most of the trekkers have a rest day in Sama Gaon with a crowd, but to escape the crowd of people in this precious land and explore most of the attractions in the region, we at Nepal Mother House design your itinerary uniquely to explore the village and Gombas, a little piece of old Tibet. After having breakfast in the beautiful place, we hike 2 to 3 hours to the Pung Gyen Gumba (3,870 m)/Old Manaslu Base Camp to explore the natural beauty and wonderful mountain view surrounding the sacred land of Pung Gyen Gumba. After enjoying the view, trek back to Shyala and trek to the Samagaun after a delicious lunch. Stay overnight at Samagaun tea house.

Day Highlights

After having breakfast, a great excursion to the Mt. Manaslu Base Camp (4,400 m) 3 to 4 Hours, via Birendra Lake ( 45 minutes from Sama), or even hike to the Advance Manaslu Base Camp (4,800 m) for the bird's-eye view of Samagaun, stunning views of the lake, glacier, and valley. Back to the Samagaun and trek 2 to 3 hours to the Samdo (3,850 m), enjoying an astonishing view around you.  The trail leads us to breathtaking mountain scenery and blue sheep territory, grazing nearby on the barren hillsides. Perhaps this will be one of the best trekking days on the whole trip, regarding the view and walking. After 3 to 4 hours of walking, you will get to Samdo, where there are more than four teahouses for your accommodation. Still, Samdo is best for view and cultural activities. If you have still energy, then you may hike up to the viewpoint as much as you can. This is best for acclimatization as well. Stay overnight at the tea house at Samdo.

Day Highlights

The trail leads us to the old trade route towards Tibet, crosses a bridge, and climbs through the trade markets of Larkya bazaar. After about three hours of climbing past glaciers, with increasingly overwhelming panoramas, we come to the campsite at Dharamsala, the high camp for the Larkya La pass, where we have lunch surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery and blue sheep territory, grazing nearby on the barren hillsides. You'll really feel the altitude and the cold here, so enjoy a more leisurely afternoon and keep warm. We'll have an early dinner in preparation for our pass crossing tomorrow...

Day Highlights

After very morning breakfast, the trail goes to the north side of the Larkya Glaciers, where we have views of Cho Danda and then of Larkya Peak. Then, walking for about four hours, we will get to the top of the Larkya La (4,160 m), with a view of wonderful panoramic mountains; Himlung Himal (7,126 m), Cheo Himal (6,820 m), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6,981 m), and the Annapurna II (7,937 m), equally stunning from both sides. The descent is steep, through moraines, towards Bhimphedi. After praying to God and yelling 'Ki ki so so lha gyalo' (may the Gods be victorious), get ready to drop the often slippery trail following the glacial moraine finally to the Bimphedi, where 'Three Sisters Hotel' is, the evening clouds gather and turn pink behind the surrounding peaks. It's all worthwhile now.

Day Highlights

The trail descends along the fig tree and rhododendron fortes, through the rocky riverbed and sliding hillsides to several small green villages. Eventually, after a long but very scenic day, we reach the large village of Tilje, inhabited by a mix of Manang (of Tibetan descent) and Chettris (Hindus), so they have a unique architecture and culture and eat mixed foods—Dal Bhat, buckwheat Dhido, Tsampa, and Tibetan salt-tea. We continue to walk at Dharapani. It's an easy trekking day following the Dudh Khola through bamboo forests about 1½ to 2 hours walk down; we see ahead marks of ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area Project) board at Dharapani. Now we are on the Annapurna Circuit Trekking main trail, an atmospheric Tibetan village with prayer flags fluttering at the Gomba in Thongje. We will stay overnight at the teahouse.

Day Highlights

Drive Dhrapani to Besisahar 3 to 4 hours by jeep or bus. Again, drive Besihar to Kathmandu for 5 to 6 hours with our scenic driving, so we'll try to head off early and stop for lunch en route back. It is a different world back in the Nepali hills, and the gentle light sends us on our way back to the bustle of Nepal's capital city, Kathmandu. A celebration is definitely in order tonight!

Essential Information

Electricity, Wi-Fi services, and Battery Charging on Manaslu Short Trek

Electricity, Wi-Fi services, and battery charging: Most of the teahouses in the Manaslu Short Trek have a multi-plug supporter socket, even though it would be better to bring it with you or buy a Kathmandu electric plug adapter (220-240V supply voltage and 50 Hz) in case that is not the proper socket. Or you may buy a power bank, extra batteries, or a solar charger. Nowadays, internet services are available in most teahouses throughout the entire trek. Furthermore, NTC (Nepal Telecom) Mobile has excellent networking at Samagaun, Samdo, and Dharmashala, and the hotel owner provides a Wi-Fi password after paying a certain amount.

High-Altitude Sickness : How to Mitigate It?

Probably, you are wondering how we can cope with the high altitude sickness during the 10-day Manaslu Circuit trek. Normally, most hikers do the same trek in 14 days! We at Nepal Mother House cater to hikers who want to quickly explore Manaslu's hidden treasure and the formidable high pass over Larkya La (5,160 meters). You must therefore be physically capable of walking for seven to eight hours a day, multiple times up and down, and be in excellent physical shape to complete this trek, at the very least. Having prior high-altitude trekking experience will be beneficial to the success of your journey. Starting at an elevation of 930 meters, the trek heads up to the pass, gradually increasing in altitude. You can choose to go straight from Samagaun (3,525 m) to Manaslu Base Camp (4,800 m), which will help you acclimate to this environment and provide excellent support for crossing the Larke Pass. On days 6 and 7, you will visit Manaslu Base Camp (4,400 m) and Pung Gyen Gumba (3,870 m). In light of this, we have successfully and flawlessly planned the Short Manaslu Circuit trek since 2001, according to our client's history. Let us think positively; the "Law of Attraction" will handle us appropriately.

If anyone has the symptoms of high altitude sickness, they need to stay in the same place until they feel better and must rest and drink plenty of water and fluids. Take some medication (Diamox) as your doctor or a guide instructs. Still, if you're not feeling better, get help and descend as far as possible. You should begin the journey with the right food, drink lots of water, avoid climbing higher than 300 meters while above the 3000-meter mark, refrain from using tobacco and alcohol, get enough rest, sleep well, and walk slowly because prevention is always preferable to treatment.

Regarding trekking polls on the trek; mostly the elderly age trekkers are using them; it is worthwhile walking down hills and climbing. We suggest you batter to use trekking poles for the trek, this will good support while walking on snow and slippery trail. But it depends on your comfort also, how you feel more comfortable either way. The trekking poles can buy at Kathmandu at a reasonable cost (for a pair 7 to 8 USD to above depending on different quality).

Autumn (September to November) and Spring (March to May) are great times for the Short Manaslu Circuit Trek. Normally, the weather will be perfect with a crystal-clear sky amazing mountain scenery, and a lovely atmosphere. The weather will be favorable the entire trip. But it depends on the following day’s weather circumstances. If in a case falling snow it will be difficult only one day from Dharmashala to Bhimtang via Larkya La Pass (5,160m). According to my experience since 2000, I have not faced any obstacles regarding weather concerns. So, according to our client’s history, we hope there won’t be anything that happened to block the pass. Let’s think positively to make successfully your trip. If in case, the Larkya La Pass is blocked due to heavy snow, you need to wait for someday at Dharmashala until opens or return to retrace the Arughat Bazaar. So, we suggested bringing good trekking boots (waterproof), crampons/microspikes, warm-down Jackets, etc.

For 4 to 5 days the begging of this trek will be hot during the day, about 25 to 30 degrees Celsius. And at the high point in the Larkya Pass (5,160m) will be 10 to 15 degrees Celsius during daytime and night and early morning will be 0 to -10 degrees Celsius. But it will depend on the following day's weather conditions too. Normally, during autumn and springtime, the weather will be perfect. Even though the high Himalayan weather is unpredictable. It might be raining or falling snow anytime. So, we at Nepal Mother House advise you to prepare well with equipment accordingly.

This is the most important question. we would like to inform you; in Nepal, we have 2 trekking seasons in a year; spring and autumn. As you know autumn (mid of September to November) and spring (March to May) are the best time for the Nepal Himalayan trip. Especially, Spring is the best time for amazing mountain scenery as well as to see the Rhododendron Blooming (Nepal’s National flower). As you are asking about May; is the perfect time to trek in Manaslu Circuit. You will meet some expedition groups also during this trek. This is a great chance to interact with them about climbing.

You are right!! The road track has opened further than Machhakhola, and this is day 3rd of the traditional trekking route, even though it is driveable only to Machhakhola (on a sunny day). Or if you like to avoid the road; there is an alternative trail as well that goes through the Kashigaun, Manbu, and Kerauja cross the bridge over Bhudhigandaki at Sothikhola but you need to be dear climbing about 1080 meters on the first-day trek. The alternative trail to Manaslu Circuit is the best way to avoid the road:

Well, the Manaslu Circuit Trek is well-known as a tea house trek. Mostly, you will be staying at Tea House, where you will have a good enough double or single bedroom with clean and neat bedcover, pillow, blankets, and a shared bathroom.

Normally, there are similar tea houses on the entire Manaslu Circuit trek; all have net and clean European toilets inside the house, sharing basic.

However, some teahouses have attached bathrooms, such as Macchakhola, Jagat, Dang, Namrung, Shyala, Samagaun, Samdo, Larkya Bazaar, Bhimtang, and Dharapani.

If you are staying at the most luxurious hotel on the trip, you need to stay at Namrung Village with a USD 50 to 70 per person per day extra payment with breakfast, dinner, tea, coffee, and accommodation.
