Overview

Hiking to Mount Everest is one of the most popular trips in the Everest region since Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa made their epic journey in 1953. This exposes wonderful mountain views, including the top of the world, “Mt. Everest” (8,848 m), and the unique culture of the great Sherpa people, as well as scenes of flora and fauna during the Everest Hike.

Everest Base Camp Hike begins in Lukla after a scenic short flight from Kathmandu in the morning. Then you will walk through the Sherpa villages, observing the unique culture, tradition, belief, and long history of mountaineering experience. The trail goes through the different villages, Phakding, Namche Bazaar, and Tyangbuche, and finally gets to Gorakshep via Lobuche, which is the last teahouse for the Everest Base Camp (5,360 m). After 2 hours of walking, you will get to one of the best viewpoints, “Kalapather (5,550 m)," where you have a wonderful view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and other mountains. The Khumbu icefall just above the Khumbu Glacier is another attraction of Mount Everest Hike. You often can see mountain views with an amazing natural atmosphere; you may encounter Musk dear, Himalayan goats (Jharal), and footprints of Snow Leopard.

Local people believe that they still, Yeti, have been hunting Yaks and cows while grazing in the high Himalayas, even though they are troubling sometimes for human binges as well. Your curiosity about the mysterious creature “Yeti” will slave after seeing Yeti’s skull in the Khumjung Monastery. The trading town of Namche Bazaar, the Buddhist monastery of Tyangbuche, the world's highest farm, Dingboche, the Everest View five-star hotel, Syangbuche, and Mount Everest Base Camp shelf will be most thrilling during Hiking To Mount Everest.

Collecting memorable experiences, you will retrace into Sherpa heritage sites with varieties of vegetation, wildlife, Mane wall painting, and monastery and people's lives—provoking you to come again for another trip!
