Ganesh Himal Trekking

Upon arrival at international airport, our waiting support team will meet and greet you at the airport assist and transfer to the Hotel.

Trekking preparation and permit organize day. Please, check your insurance details and have a copy of your travel medical insurance policy with you.

After breakfast we will take a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Trisuli bazaar, about 3 to 4 hours away. Then trek to Deurali Bhanjyang. The trail goes alongside the river and rice terraces. Passing the small villages along the way you will reach Deurali village, which occupied by mixture tribes. Along the route one can have a good view of Trisuli valley. Stay overnight in tented camp.

Today the trek goes through several unique villages and continues uphill through a forest, reaching Bhaisi Kharka after a 5 to 6 hour walk. The camp site is very beautiful and we stay overnight.

The trail continues gradually uphill through bamboo, pine, and rhododendron forests to reach to Kharani Odar. Many different kinds of birds and wildlife can be seen in this forest. After 5 to 6 hour’s journey, we set up the camp in Kharani Odar.

The journey for today is long and arduous. We gain about 1,200m in elevation at the highest point of our trip. It is wise to leave early in the morning to avoid the overpowering midday sun. The path will enter a thickly forested area with many fir trees and rhododendrons. The ascent will become more serious. The trail passes many Kharkas and small peaks. You will get on the ridgeline, from where you will see excellent views of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal at a very close distance. Stay overnight at Tent after a 6 to 6 ½ hour trek.

After breakfast, we take a pleasant walk and enjoy views of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal. The trail leads you down at first and then ascends to the Pongsang Pass; total walking time is about 5 to 6 hours. Stay overnight at tent in Pongsang.

This is a rest day, although you can explore around Pongsang with its enchanting Himalaya beauty.

After having a hot breakfast this pass falls into the deep valley of the Mailung Khola. The trail descends all the way to Somdang Phedi. The camp will be set up around a square in front of the miner's housing. The trekking time totals about 4 to5 hours.

The trail goes downhill towards to Yuri Kharka. And then we will walk through a forest and small villages up to the Gotlang village. We will set camp up after a 5 to 5 ½ hour downhill walk, staying overnight in Gotlang.

This is beautiful walk from Gotlang to Syaprubesi through road and un-spoilt Tamang villages. Tamangs are major tribes along the way today. We stay overnight at Lodge after 4 to 5 hours trekking.

We should be ready by 6:00 in morning in the hotel lobby in order to catch breakfast or talk with your trekking guide. We will drive back to Kathmandu on roads passing terraces, streams, rivers, local settlements, high hills alongside the Trishuli River. It takes about 7 to 8 hours (conditional) to reach your hotel in Kathmandu by bus/ private car.

In this pleasant day you may have full day at leisure either relax at hotel or explore the around Thamel. Today is day of ending your journey, so we would like offer you farewell dinner in Nepali typical Restaurant and hand over you Trip Certificate, Trekking Permit and TIMS Card for memory of Nepal trip.

Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until departure flight/drive. Our assist will be transfer to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination, taking with you the memory of a life time.
