Born (1998) in a Historical place, Gokrka, Gandaki-6-Gandaki, Mr. Kishor Thapa Magar started his trekking career as an assistant mountain guide in 2017 and became a Guide in 2024. He had completed training such as guide training, first-aid training, and rock climbing from the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM).
As he is a local inhabitant of the lap of the Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world, he knows various trekking routes of Nepal like the Everest Region, Annapurna, Manaslu, Upper Mustang, Nar Phu Valley, Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Upper Dolpo, etc. And he is familiar with most of the trekking routes due to their similar culture and mother tongue.
He has visited the entire trekking region of the Nepal Himalaya. Ashok is very committed, action-oriented, sincere, helpful, motivated, and a very good-mannered person.
