During sightseeing, we will explore Kathmandu Durbar Square with its concentration on royal and religious architecture and the sacred temples of Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath,Boudanath, If you have one more day in Kathmandu, then you may visit Patan and Bhaktapur. Then we are traveling to the western part of Nepal, spending overnight in the rural towns and countryside of Bandipur before reaching the beautiful lake-side town of Pokhara. From Pokhara, you’ll enjoy your porter-assisted trek into the Annapurna foothills—a relatively easy five-day Himalayan walk, ideal for the first-time trekker. During the Nepal Tour Package, you will enjoy the fascinating mountain scenery, picturesque local villages, their ever-charming people, lifestyle, culture, and different flora and fauna. Mountain scenery during the sunrise and sunset is best in this trek.

Then you will visit the hill town Bandipur, Siddha Gupha (huge cave), picturesque mountain vistas, landscapes, some famous scenes, etc. Then we are heading for Chitwan Jungle Safari after 3/4 hour driving. In Chitwan National Park, you’ll travel by elephant, canoe, and foot in search of wildlife. You should see a variety of birds, spotted deer, a one-horn rhino, and perhaps even a tiger! We will return to Kathmandu having collected a lifetime experience. Upon arrival at international airport meet our assistants and transfer to the Hotel (star category, very nice and centrally located at Thamel) to take a rest and be free all afternoon.

Our Tour Guide leads you to explore around Kathmandu valley for sightseeing. You will explore historical and spiritual attractions; including the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square; the House of the Living Goddess “Kumari” and Kasthamandup temple” - it is said that it was built from a single tree in 16th century, Big bell-Big drams, Erotic carvings in old temples, old palaces, etc., Bouddhanath; one of the largest Stupas in Nepal, Swayambhunath; situated on top of the hill known as the Monkey Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the world, which has been registered as a UNESCO heritage side. Pasupatinath; Hindus holy place, with Sadhus and pilgrims bathing, and occasionally, funeral pyres burning on the Ghats, located on the holy Bagmati River. After these activities we go back to your hotel and prepare for the treks. Stay overnight at hotel. This morning you journey to the small village of Bandipur along a 16km stretch of rough off-road (approx 1hr drive) which is currently being rapidly tracked. The foothills of the Himalayas are in themselves impressive enough, but as you get closer to Bandipur you get tempting views of the high peaks. On your way there, should be the opportunity, for those who wish, you may embark on a thrilling white water rafting adventure on the Trisuli River (optional and subject to minimum numbers), rejoining the group later this evening in Bandipur. Arriving in Dumre you turn south, off the main highway, and continue to a ridge set at an altitude of 1050m; here lies the delightful village of Bandipur. Winding its way up and down hills. Bandipur’s main street has many three or four storey brick buildings with carved wood windows, including yours - a converted Newari house called The Old Inn. The 3 or 4 temples in the town add to the atmosphere in what is a traditional Nepali hill village; few foreigners find their way up here. You stretch your legs with a walk through the village and out into the surrounding countryside for superb views up the Marsyangdi river valley, to the Himalaya beyond. Many of the range’s giants can be seen: Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Manaslu and the distant Annapurnas amongst them. Guesthouse (shared facilities).

Fortified with a hot cup of tea you awake in the hope of seeing a superb sunrise over the Himalaya. The sun turns the icy white peaks of the world’s highest mountains from deep orange, through a soft yellow glow, to pure white. This morning there is the chance to take a walk in the surrounding area. After sunrise viewing and having breakfast, your guide leads you to the huge cave Shiddha Gufa after 1 ½ hours downhill walk. You can find it is unbelievable walking on a ladder and by rope for 45 minutes. Then we drive to the beautiful city Pokhara from the highway. Pokhara is a beautiful valley, with panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (shape of fish tail), Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal and Manaslu. The town of Pokhara is set on the banks of the Phewa Lake. It is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu providing the perfect starting point for our trek. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day Highlights

The first day of trekking starts at Ulleri after 2 to 3 hours driving by private vehicle from Pokhara via Nayapul, Birethanti (1015m) Hille (1495m) and Tikhedhunga (1570m). We begin our journey with a steep climb to a large Magar village at Ulleri (2070m) after crossing a bridge. Then the trail leads us to continue to ascend more gently, through dense forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). Occasionally, we can see Lonmgur (long tail black mouth Monkey) jumping in the trees. Then we trek towards Nangethanti (2460m), and after an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m). Stay overnight at lodge.

Day Highlights

We will hike about 45 minutes to Poon Hill (3210m) early in the morning; this viewpoint provides an unobstructed beautiful sunrise over the high Himalayas with panoramic views of the giants Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchere, Nilgiri, Hiuchuli, South Annapurna etc. along with a network of other peaks slowly beginning to appear like magic before our eyes. We come back to Ghorepani for a hot breakfast, and then start walking to Tadapani. The trail climbs along ridges with pine and rhododendron forests to the Deurali and then descends through the beautiful waterfall, stream, and dense forest to the Banthati. The stream has some clear pools alongside the trail, and finally climbs up to the final destination Tadapani, meaning ‘far water’ and the water supply for this village is a long distance below.

After taking breakfast we will descend steeply through dense Rhododendron forests with breathtaking panorama view of mountains and get in beautiful Ghandrung village in 2 to 3 hours, inhabitants of Gurung people. And keep on walk to the Kimche another an hour, from where we will drive to Pokhara by Jeep or bus taking 2 to 3 hours, a peaceful lakeside city harboring a unique setting of tropical climate and vegetation with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas. Stay overnight at Pokhara Hotel.

Day Highlights

After late breakfast, we will start sightseeing around Pokhara Valley with Nepal Mother House Treks and a well experienced Guide. The noteable places; Fewa Lake, Bagnes Lake, Devi’s water fall, Biswa Shanti Stupa (World Peace Stupa), International Mountaineering Museum, Tibetan refugee settlement and Gupteshower cave. We will relax the rest of the day in a Hotel, or do some Shopping around. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we’ll depart to Chitwan national park. The journey takes about 5-6 hours from Kathmandu-Chitwan national park. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Lunch will be served in the resort, after lunch we will proceed for Tharu village tour. Dinner and overnight stay at Chitwan national park.

The royal national park (960sq kms), formerly a royal hunting reserve, lies in the low land Terai zone of southern Nepal. If is home to an extraordinary range of the world’s rarest animals and birds. Today, we’ll enjoy the bird watching, followed by the jungle walk, Elephant Back Riding Safari through the jungle, Cannoning, Village Tour and Tharu cultural show in the evening. Stay overnight at Hotel.

In this pleasant day you may have a full day at leisure to either relax at hotel or explore the around Thamel. Today is the last day of your journey, so we will hand you a Trip Certificate, Trekking Permit and TIMS Card for memory of Nepal trip. Today is free for last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives until your departure flight/drive. Our assistants will help you transfer to the International Airport for your departure flight to your further destination, taking with you the memory of a life time.
