Overview

Balthali Village Tour is one of the best tourist destinations for those who are looking for easy, short, or family trekking with children in the "middle hill" villages. Easily accessible Balthali village is standing on a plateau, just beyond Panauti, about 40 km away from Kathmandu, which rests at the junction of the Roshi and Ladku Khola rivers. This tour offers you sunrise in the east, the Himalayan range from Manaslu to Mt. Everest in the north, innumerable rice terraces in the west, and the huge-bodied green forest of the Mahabharat range in the south.

The Balthali Village Tour—in the pure village, you feel pleasant and relaxed in the village culture, and also we can promote village tourism in Nepal. The most important factors of this spot are that it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, with picturesque mountain scenery. The area of Balthali is covered with various floras and colorful rhododendron forests with magnolia and Sal trees. Balthali Village Tour is a perfect place for nature lovers and bird watchers. Nature lovers and bird watchers can spend days exploring and discovering some exceptional species of wildlife, different species of birds, traditions, and untouched-by-modernity village culture. This “off the beaten location” village has endless trials leading to some ethnic tribes' settlements offering excellent short hikes and mountain biking on the easy trails. There are many sacred and ancient temples and monasteries, such as Namobuddha, Indreshwor Mahadev, and Bramayani Temple, all located in this region, and they still need to be discovered to unveil their mysterious past.

One of the finest tour destinations of Kathmandu Valley, explore the remote and spectacular areas of Balthali, Namo Buddha, Dhulikhel, and Panauti for an unforgettable experience. There are a number of excellent short and long hikes from a day to more days within Balthali Village Resort, and its surroundings give you ample opportunity and time to explore this quaint natural heaven. Nepal Mother House Treks and Expedition are glad to organize your tour as a fixed itinerary or as you prefer.
