The Chisapani Nagarkot Trek starts from Sundarijal, after an hour's drive from Kathmandu city into the northeast. The trail goes through the Shivapuri National Park and drinking water supply dam, then to the Mulkharka villages, and again through the oak and rhododendron forests. Spring is the best time for the rhododendron to bloom. You have amazing sunrise and sunset views from Chisapani and Nagarkot, with snowcapped mountain chains including Mt. Next is separated from Mulkharka village (a bike ride from Begging of Mulkharka Village at Karma Hotel), and a walking trail in the middle of the village with a small stream turns to the right side and goes along the dense forest, following the small river bank to the Hile Bhanjyang, about 18 km, and one km to the Dhap Lake.
