Thank you to Nepal mother House Treks for ensuring we had an amazing experience on the Annapurna Poon Hill trek. Karna was able to answer all emails with care and detail, putting our minds at ease.

Our guide Sabut was caring, and fun and took responsibility for all situations.

Our porter (Mrs) Ronaldo was so helpful with our luggage and also gave us insights into Nepal life.

My guide, Mr. Sabut, looked after me really well during the Manaslu Circuit trek and really knew the area and the local people. The trek itself is very beautiful and I would book again with this company if I return to Nepal.

From the moment we entered the office of the agency, we knew we were in safe and capable hands. Mister Karna spared no time in making sure we were well-informed on all aspects of this track, all possible routes and excursions we could take (depending on our fitness levels), and every little detail we needed to know before we started. We decided to only go with a guide (as we didn't need a porter's help) and were a little nervous beforehand because we are a bit of a shy pair. In just a few hours, it became apparent that there was absolutely no reason to be nervous! Having Suman, our fantastic guide, with us felt like we had simply planned this trip with a very dear friend, who just happens to be knowledgeable on all aspects of this Himalayan adventure!

We spent so much time just having great talks along the way, laughing and joking when it got difficult to walk, and playing games after the day ended! Even so, Suman had the answers to all of the questions and really went over and beyond for us - from preparing amazing fruit decorations in the evening to making sure he inspected the rooms before accepting them on our behalf, to even riding at the back of the jeep so we didn't have to wait for the next one...

We have traveled around the world, but we have never seen anyone go to such lengths for their clients. We are humbled and awed by the hospitality and professionalism we were shown! Seek out Suman if you are in search of not only knowledge and reliability, but a friendly, fun, and intelligent person with an abundance of good energy!

The ride to EBC, in comparison to a flight, gives you a good opportunity to see the country and some spectacular landscapes. Endless rice fields on hills and strong rivers, as well as experience Nepal outside of the tourist zones. The first day of the trek goes through local hillside roads and is a very unique trek route compared to the rest of the trip. So if you have some extra time and are patient, leave the convenience of a flight for a bit of a different adventure. I'd be a little sad if I didn't experience it myself. :)

We were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the Mother House Trek agency and this at all stages of the organization of the trek: pre-booking information, reservation, personalized welcome at Kathmandu, and the attention and care all trip long. Our guide Jayaram and porter Deepu made our trip memorable. We faced many unforeseen circumstances on the road due to bad weather and we always felt safe. Jayaram and Deepu were able to share their love for Nepal and we easily bonded. Our first trek in Nepal was a success! The Manaslu circuit is full of memorable landscapes and we received a 5-star service throughout the trek (private room, private bathroom when possible, souvenirs of the trek with personalized certificates, etc.). We thank our friends for the recommendation and highly recommend this trekking agency to anyone. We will come back!

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish: crazy bumpy ride in the jeep, subtropical vegetation in the lower parts, bath in ice cold stream, waterfalls, hanging bridges, teahouses, snow-covered peaks, a hint of altitude sickness, just enough to tell you you're halfway between the sea level and the 8000ers' summits, herds of yaks, a match of football with Nepali porters on the stone courtyard of the school in Shyala, stars and sunrise during ascent to the Larke Pass. And Bom - a great guide. Bom, thank you, it was a great trek. Looking forward to walking with you again.

Wow, where to start? My husband and I had the best experience booking our Manaslu Circuit trek with Nepal Mother House Treks. It was important to us to go with a company that was Nepali owned and operated, which this company is.

Booking was a breeze, and owner Karna was so helpful in walking me through the payment process, despite the time change from Canada to Nepal. We felt so welcomed and taken care of in our orientation process, and our Guide Michael and our Porter Thulkancha made the whole trip such a pleasure!

We ran into very inclement weather about 4 days into the Circuit and decided to turn back due to rain and landslide activity. Michael was so awesome for quickly arranging an alternate trek for us to Annapurna Base Camp. He took care of accommodation and transportation across Nepal, and was an excellent and informative guide throughout the whole trip! We learned so much about the culture and history of Nepal having a guide, more than we could have gleaned from travel blogs and books, and were very happy to have a porter too. And since we weren't able to complete the Manaslu circuit, it just means we have to go back to Nepal now! And we plan to book again with Nepal Mother House Treks.

We did the Manaslu circuit trek at Nepal's mother's house. From the moment we got picked up at the airport by our guide Subarna until we were dropped off after the trek we were made to feel extremely welcome and looked after by the agency.

Karna, the owner, was really open and honest with us about bad weather that could have disrupted our trek - luckily it worked out for us but the communication was excellent in terms of explaining the situation and offering alternatives. Also, we had already paid our deposit for October 2020 but couldn't do the trek due to the pandemic. Karna acted with huge integrity, assuring us that our deposit was safe and could be used whenever the pandemic abated which turned out to be two years later.

Our guide, Subarna gave us a great experience on the trail. As well as being great company and teaching us about the mountains and local customs, we witnessed how hard he worked to organize everything, make sure we were safe and ensure our accommodation, transport, and food were all arranged smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. A really really incredible breathtaking experience made even better by Nepal's mother's house.
